A good time to be Alive

Welcome back to the blog spot!!

First things first, I would like to invite all of my loyal readers to vote in my brand new poll on the bottom of the page (check it out). Anyways, I hope everybody is having a good summer, even though that is somewhat impossible when you are stranded up at miserable DU. I hope this blog can at least provide Sabatino with some form of entertainment and drag him away from Halo for 10 minutes. So, I just got back from Chicago and I was able to play golf with my brother (Justin) who I haven't talked to in like a year. It was really good to see him and even better to absolutely destroy him at golf! My golf game game is getting scary good!! (Like almost as good as Sammy with a lefty Pitching Wedge!!)
It was a good trip out there because I was able to see everybody that I miss (Shout out to my Mom). It's always good to see family because they will always be there for you, and they always have love for you! It was also good to see all of my cousins who all live out there. But don't get me wrong I'm happy to be home with all of my friends and my Dad. Interesting thing about my Dad, he keeps saying that he tries to read my blog but he cant access it from work. He could be telling the truth, or he straight up doesn't care about me enough to spend a couple of minutes and read what I pour my heart and soul into. At least I am home for the rest of the summer so I can direct my attention to the two most important things in my life; Golf and the Rockies. Rockies games are always fun to go to. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend it. I actually attended the July 3rd game against the Marlins. Wow! What a game, and the fireworks afterward made it unreal!!! It was nice to go with a close group of friends (Shout out to Nikki). Seriously though, this game was almost as good as Opening Day, which remains as the best day of my life (Sammy can relate). The opening day game was the day before prom when we ditched school on a Friday and went to prom on Saturday, which was also fun (Nikki can relate).
I am really happy with how successful this blog is becoming! Please stay updated because the best is yet to come!

Thanks for Your time
-Shaun Hicks

P.S.- If you take my advice and go to a Rockies game, don't ever, ever under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE enter the whitehouse bar and lounge.
